Research & positioning
Business objectives, audience, category and cultural context. We agree what the brand is for before anything is drawn.
Just Jenius is an independent brand and design studio based in London. We were established in 2026 to do one thing properly: build brand systems that are clear, distinctive and capable of travelling between the UK and Asia without losing themselves.

Every brand has one thing that genuinely deserves to be remembered. Most of the work is finding it. The rest is expressing it precisely, and with enough character that it could not belong to anyone else.
So we begin with research, positioning and concept development, and move from there into visual identity, graphic design, digital experience and brand communication. Because strategy and execution are built in the same process, the finished work still says what the strategy said it would.
We are not interested in decoration for its own sake, and we are not interested in systems so rigid that nobody can use them. A good brand system should be specific enough to be recognisable and generous enough to be lived in.
London is our creative and project-management centre. Rather than carrying a large fixed studio, we assemble the most appropriate team for each brief — working with UK-based and Asian graphic designers, brand designers and other creative specialists.
It means a project is staffed by people suited to it: its scale, its category and its cultural context. It also means the studio can work at a serious standard on a founder's first identity and on an established brand's repositioning.
This way of working across regions is a deliberate part of what Just Jenius is. We understand where UK and Chinese markets differ in visual language, cultural reference, consumer perception and brand expression — and we design accordingly.

Business objectives, audience, category and cultural context. We agree what the brand is for before anything is drawn.
02
Two or three distinct creative territories, each with a rationale. We choose a direction together.
03
The chosen direction developed into a full system: logotype, type, colour, graphic language, layout.
04
The system proved on real things — packaging, print, digital, environment — and refined where it needs to be.
05
Artwork files, usage guidelines and a handover session, so the brand holds together without us in the room.
Our clients are typically businesses with UK–China cross-border needs — early-stage ventures, emerging brands, small and medium-sized businesses, and established companies looking to bring a brand up to date.
